This is the story of Lawrence Wildheart. A 55-year-old war veteran who suddenly awakens in his 14-year-old self with the full knowledge of his future life. Everything.
Unaware of how such a thing is possible and fearful at the potential loss of his future children, he is eventually visited by the Archangel Gabriel who informs him that the God of Israel is the reason for his current predicament. He was chosen to not only repair his life but to also combat an evil that has found a way to affect both the past and future simultaneously.
Using the skills and knowledge he has gained living a lifetime, he seeks to fulfill his heaven-given mission as he also strives to change, for the better, the family and friends that formed the person he will become.
He is aided by an ancient and formerly unknown priesthood who know about his legacy, him and his deceased father than he is aware.
