Fair Use: The Magazine of Public Domain Sequential Art is a specialty magazine for fans, researchers and historians. The magazine will act a guide to comic book history within the public domain, creation, and investor pricing. The articles while mainly about superheroes, will cover other popular aspects about comics, including film, television and more. We will use original cover art and features from past industry creators and independent historians.
The public domain comprises the body of knowledge and innovation (especially creative works such as writing, art, music, and inventions) in relation to which no person or other legal entity can establish or maintain proprietary interests within a particular legal jurisdiction. This body of information and creativity is considered to be part of a common cultural and intellectual heritage, which, in general, anyone may use or exploit, whether for commercial or noncommercial purposes.
All aspects of this series are to compile and preserve the timeline, creator bios, publishing companies, and art reproductions of these historical works for educational purposes and preservation.
